WELCOME! The area covered by the Barnsley & District Society of Change Ringers is the area within a 12 mile radius of
St Mary's parish church, Barnsley.
 
The object of the Society is the cultivation of the art of change ringing and the promotion of good fellowship among ringers.
 
Closed lead minor ringing (cartwheel) is encouraged and promoted by the Society but not to the exclusion  of other forms of ringing.

It's a Hat Trick!

Congratulations to the Silkstone band on winning the Shelley Cup striking contest held at Shelley on Saturday 3rd July 2010. Silkstone are current holders of the Swaine Cup and the Barnsley Shield, winning the Shelley Cup makes it a hat trick!

Start time about 3:00 pm, to be confirmed.

THE BARNSLEY SHIELD CONTEST  

was held on Saturday 13th March 2010 at New Mill.

 CONGRATULATIONS TO THE WINNING BAND, SILKSTONE.

 

St Mary's, Ecclesfield has launched an appeal to raise funds for essential maintenance to the bell installation and augmentation to 10. Full details about the appeal and fund raising events are on the Ecclesfield Tower website www.ecclesfieldtower.org.uk
