WELCOME! The area covered by the Barnsley & District Society of Change Ringers is the area within a 12 mile radius of
St Mary's parish church, Barnsley.
 
The object of the Society is the cultivation of the art of change ringing and the promotion of good fellowship among ringers.
 
Closed lead minor ringing (cartwheel) is encouraged and promoted by the Society but not to the exclusion  of other forms of ringing.

A quarter peal of 2100 Plain Bob Triples was rung at All Saints, Wath upon Dearne by members of the society on Saturday 4th July 2009. This quarter was rung as part of the centenary year celebrations. See details below.
